The following rebates may be accessed in addition to ecoENERGY grants. Make sure you benefit from all of these great programs!

Renewable Energy Systems

• Ontario's microFIT program
  Pays you for power generated using solar PV, wind, water power or bioenergy.

Programmable Thermostats

• Free web-programmable thermostat
  Available through the peaksaver PLUS program.

Water Conservation and Stormwater Credits

Ratepayers in the municipalities of Kitchener and Waterloo are able to apply for stormwater credits of up to 45% of the stormwater portion of their utility bill in their city of residence.

• $20 toilet rebate
  Replace a toilet that uses 6 litres per flush or more with a high-efficiency toilet that averages 4.8 litres per flush or less and get a $20 rebate from the Regional Municipality of Waterloo (ongoing).
